The group was created by a team of breeders who wanted a positive, supportive, and transparent space to share knowledge, genetics, and a passion for Nigerian Dwarf goats.

Membership Information
Whether your interest lies in learning about our breeding program, showing Nigerian Dwarf goats, or purchasing eligible animals, we welcome you to connect with any of our foundation members.
New membership is by invitation and is available through the acquisition of animals carrying verified Old Mountain Farm genetics from existing members.
Group Rules
Animal Source
All Nigerian Dwarf goats in the group must be sourced from an existing member.
Genetic Requirement
All goats must carry verified Old Mountain Farm genetics, supported by DNA testing.
Association Membership
Members may also be registered with recognised goat associations such as DGSA or AABMGS.
Registration Requirement
All animals must be registered with a recognised goat registry (e.g. DGSA or AABMGS).
Showing Requirements
Any animal exhibited must comply with the show rules of its registered association.
Breed Standard
All animals must conform to the American Nigerian Dwarf breed standards.
Biosecurity Requirement
All members must comply with relevant state biosecurity regulations and testing programs, including Goat MAP or equivalent check testing, as required by their state of residence.
